Ali Amin Gandapur is a prominent Pakistani politician associated with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party. Born into a politically active Pashtun family in Dera Ismail Khan, Gandapur has had a dynamic career in both provincial and federal politics. His father, Major (retd) Aminullah Gandapur, was also involved in politics, and his brother Faisal Amin Gandapur has similarly followed a political path.

Gandapur’s political journey began when he was elected to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Provincial Assembly in 2013. He later became the Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan from 2018 to 2022. In the 2024 elections, he was nominated by PTI as the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
